Today we're given an interesting prompt, along with the request to do something silly. I'm always doing silly things, so this was a non-issue. Haha. Anyway, I took two lines out of a poem I wrote earlier this month; Jubilation! I didn't care much for the original, but I rather like what came out here;
Waiting
I'll just sit in the corner,
listening to my music.
The time will come,
the tide will turn,
when I seek to find
the world and all the
beauty in it.
It lies before me,
but now I wait.
Biding my time,
waiting my turn.
But now I wait
wait
wait.
I'll just sit in the corner.
Listening to my music.
